Pulling up to the Palace Theater in Seguin, Texas, takes a person back to the 1940's and 50's to the heyday of small town Saturday nights at the movies. This art deco style building has been an active theater since the 1940's, with the exception of an explosion caused by a natural gas leak that decimated the entire block in the late 1940s. Fortunately, the explosion happened in the early morning hours, so no one was killed, and the theater was rebuilt on the same spot. But that death record would change in the 1970s. A little girl was watching a matinee from the balcony of the theater when she was accidentally pushed over the rail to her death in the seats below. Shadow figures, voices, and apparitions are now experienced by patrons and theater workers. A theater was such an epicenter of human activity, it is no wonder people can still experience the spirits left over in this old place. Whether it be the little girl who died at the matinee or just some teenager ghosts who want to relive the good times of their youth, the Palace Theater is where to find it.
