Up to 10 People from 7PM - Midnight for Only $350

The Old Wilson County Jail is the original county lock-up for Wilson County in Floresville, Texas. Built in 1887, it served as the county jail and residence for the local sheriff during their term. It eventually closed in 1974 when a new facility was constructed.

Being a jail on the wild Texas frontier, it saw its share of shady characters and dramatic moments. The three-level stone facility echoes the duality of prison life with a harsh environment of slat steel cages for inmates and the luxury of a family home separated by a single wall. Two executions by hanging occurred here—one outside and one inside. In fact, the interior gallows complete with trap door and drop lever are still here.

Claims of paranormal activity are abundant. Shadows, full apparitions, and disembodied voices have been experienced by many visitors over the years. It doesn’t seem like it is just one spirit either. Women, men, and children have all been witnessed or experienced. One of the main ghostly residents is thought to be one of the executed prisoners who was put to death in spectacular fashion for a grisly multiple murder.

You can book a private investigation of the building for up to 10 people for just $350. This allows you full access to the facility from 7pm to Midnight. There are also sessions every second weekend of the month where you can get a two hour tour which includes a hosted mini investigation and use of paranormal investigation equipment. These special sessions are only $25 per person.

Your bookings help fund the preservation efforts of this piece of Texas history.
